Uaxactún
is the most important astronomical center of the Mayas,
close to the community of Chicleros that have been living
in the zone for more than 80 years. In the heart of the
Mayan Biosphere Reserve, with an extensive diversity of
birds (approx 300 species), Uaxactún is nature
and culture in its explendor.

Itinerary
Minibus will be departing from Flores City to the community
of Uaxactun.
(Approx.
travel time 2 hour)
Upon arriving at Uaxactún your tour throughout
the site, will help you learn more about its astronomical
features then followed by a visit to the community better
known for extraction of chicle (gum) and many other jungle
products.
