Located in the southern region of Peten. Ceibal is partially cleared and restored and beautifully landscaped into a mixture of open plazas and untamed jungle.
Guests are picked up from their hotel at 8:00am and transferred by land to the town of Sayaxche (1hr) on the shores of the River, "Rio Passion", take the boat to Ceibal. Ceibal Archaeological site is located to 12km. east of Sayaxché, Petén over the west banks of the Rio La Passion, with an elevation of 220mts over sea level.
