  • Itinerary

    Day 1 Arrive to Guatemala – Guatemala City

    Meeting upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Guatemala City.

    Day 2 Quirigua B

    Early in the morning transfer to Caribbean of Guatemala. Stop in route to visit Quirigua known for the tallest stelae in the Mayan World. The charter that stands out is Kak Chan Tiliw Yopa, also known as Heaven Kawak. Quiriguá is the only place where zoomorphs have been discovered. The largest of the stele is an impressive 35 feet tall and weighs about 65 tons. The hieroglyphics sculpted upon the stelae recount the history between this city and the ancient city of Copan in Honduras. Quirigua is a UNESCO world heritage site.

    Day 3 Rio Dulce Canyon B L

    Cruise the Rio Dulce River through the central canyon and down to the Garifuna town of Livingston on the Coast. Explore Livingston then journey back downriver to Rio Dulce and per chance see the elusive Manatee. Once back at Rio Dulce private ground transfer to the Flores area.

    Day 4 Yaxha day tour B L

    Yaxha is located in a national park made up of 3 important Mayan sites. Full of Ramón trees, wide roads, two lagoons Sacnab and Yaxha, this place has its natural charm that captivates. You will have a day full of natural life and culture.

    Day 5 Tikal Sunset B

    Free time in the morning. After the lunch departure to Tikal, you will have the opportunity to see other colors, the illuminated temples, La Plaza Central, Mundo Perdido and Temple IV are unmissable in our visit.

    Day 6 Crater Azul B L

    Today you will visit a natural sanctuary of aquatic plants and blue waters. Float on the Pucte River through the tropical dry forest, keeping your eyes peeled for otters, crocodiles, monkeys, and large birds like herons, and Rostrhamus sociabilis. Time to snorkeling at the clear water.

    Day 7 Candelaria Caves B

    We will be transferred to Coban and on the way, we visit the most impressive cave complex in Central America. Cuevas de Candelaria has some impressive rooms to appreciate, we can do tubing if the river allows it.

    Day 8 Semuc Champey B L

    Semuc Champey is definitely a do-it-yourself kind of attraction is a 300 m long natural forming limestone bridge that has six turquoise blue water pools. Take a nice 45 minutes hike through the jungle to the viewpoint, “El Mirador”. The view at the top is gorgeous, both of Semuc and the lush green mountains surrounding it. We are also going to explore the Kamba Caves so you can start the splash.

    Day 9 Lanquin to Guatemala City B L

    Return to Guatemala City, en route we visit Orquigonia a nursery garden of native orchids in the area.

    This morning our driver will transfer guests to the airport in plenty of time to catch your international flight onwards.
