Itinerary: Arrival at The Aurora International Airport which is located in Zone 13 to aboard Airlines TACA or TAG accordingly (TAG Headquarters Av. Hincapie y 18 Calle, Zona 13). Arrival time at the airport must be no later than 5:00am Local time. (Please note that some hotels offer free shuttles to the airport on specific times & we can also provide this service at an extra fee if not available).

Both airline departure times are at 6:30am with arrivals in Flores at 7:20am approximately. 

Day 1.) At the arrival hall in Flores, you will be meeting our local Guide an expert who will take you on your expedition to the amazing and yet most fascinating site in the Mayan World, The Tikal National Park!

Declared 1979 as World´s natural and cultural heritage makes out Tikal an extraordinary blend of  mystical nature deeply rooted in the ancient city where once built tower temples where they could rule their lands from. Come and have the opportunity to walk up these edifices, explore the palaces and ceremonial hubs. The bio-diversity of flora and fauna will give the final touch of your visit. Culture will surprise you, but Nature will fascinate you even more! Having lunch at the Park gives you more time to take in the ambience. Two museums to discover at Tikal on your own, and then transfer to your hotel/airport.

Day 2.) A day at leisure with the options of doing other fun activities or visit other archeological sites (at an additional cost) in the area before heading back to Guatemala City. Please take your time and see the amazing activities below!!

Arrival Flores Intel, meet and greet, transfer to Tikal National Park with driver and guide. Trip should take approximately 1.5 hours.

9:00 a.m.

Upon arrival at The Tikal National Park you will start of the site which should take approximately 3 ½ hours exploring the different acropolises, temples, pyramids and a delightful combination of flora and fauna.

1:00 p.m.

Lunch at a local restaurant “El Meson”

3:00 p.m.

Transfer to the hotel of your choice.

DAY 2

Flores - Guatemala

Free Day with optional tours or activities such as Yaxha, Lake tour, Ceibal, Aguateca, zip line or skyway.
