With all of the uncertainty going around, we know there are a lot of questions. Here are answers to some of the more common ones.

Protocols to enter the Country Covid 19

Airway

When you travel to Guatemala you must fill out this Health pass.
Heald pass covid-19 Guatemala.

  • Negative PCR, no more than 72 hours previously (applies to people 10 years and older) for passengers entering the national territory.
  • Use of a mandatory mask for people over 2 years old (Airlines must provide those who do not wear them). Passengers with severe respiratory or cognitive difficulties who cannot tolerate them are accepted from the use of masks.
  • For passengers leaving the national territory, they must comply with the requirements of the destination country https://www.iatatravelcentre.com/world.php

Land route

Foreigners

  • Negative PCR, no more than 72 hours previously (applies to people 10 years and older) for passengers entering the national territory.
  • Record of personal information for tracking and monitoring
  • Use of mandatory mask for people over 2 years old.

Guatemalan, temporary and permanent residents and diplomatic corps

  • Temperature monitoring will be carried out
  • Record of personal information for tracking and monitoring
  • Use of a mandatory mask for people over 2 years old.
